This Cube Talk9X was released in this May. The price is only 125 euros with 16GB flash memory. Today, Ontablets got one sample, and share our reviews here about this unit.

In fact, Cube Talk9X is not only a tablet, but also one phablet. It can support three different 3G network standard, WCDMA, TD-CDMA and GSM. This is the first octa core phablet with MTK8392 CPU. The screen size is 9.7 inch and resolution is 2048*1536 pixels. The screen has adopted the IGZO technology. Except surfing internet, the unit can also make calls as well. The camera resolution is 8M pixels.

Compared with other similar models in market, this Cube Talk9X has several advantages. First, it can support three different network standard. Now, most octa core phablet in market can only support WCDMA network.

Second, though, they all adopt the MTK8392 octa core chipset. But the frequency of Cube Talk9X is 2.0G, most of others are only 1.4G to 1.7G. The running speed is faster.

Third, it owns one 10000Mah high capacity battery. Others are only 2000Mah to 6000Mah.

Totally, this Cube Talk9X is quite a good unit. Octa core high running speed CPU, adding on the low price, it is really worthy of owning one.

The day before yesterday, the chipset supplier in China, Nufront, hold a conference and showed its latest quad core CPU for 3G tablet. There are a lot of well known tablets suppliers from China attended this conference. This solution is based on the Nufront Telink7689 quad core CPU, and total cost is only 50 euros.

Speaking of 3G tablets, we will be reminded of Mediatek. From 2013, Mediatek started to move to tablet filed, just within one year, it becomes with top supplier of 3G tablets solution.

In 2014, Mediatek keeps on increasing sales of 3G tablet CPU. Many tablets suppliers in China adopt its CPU for their tablets. Even Marvell and other well known chipset suppliers can not compete with Mediatek in this field.

Nufront is not so well known in this field. But from last year, it started to develop its CPU for 3G tablet. As the demand of 3G tablet is keeping on increasing in this market. Even Intel has to cooperate with Rockchip to expand the market share. As the low price of this Telink 7689 solution, it interests a lot of suppliers here. Even Mediatek has to to face the competition from Nufront.

As news from Ontablets, Nufront will develop a octa core and 4G CPU next year. The cost will also be lower than Mediatek solution. So we believe, from next year, we can see a lot of cheap tablet pc adopting Nufront solution.

This Telink7689 is based on Big.LITTLE framework, the power consumption is very low. Frequency is 1.5GHz. It can support 1080P video playback and dual 13M pixels cameras.

Though in the market, there are a lot of 3G tablets with similar price, but the performance is much lower than this Telink7689.

As till now, we did not get any sample of tablet with this chipset, we can not know its exact performance.

Now, smart wearing device is quite hot in market. And in new power auto market, Tesla is the most popular one. Now these two different fields are connected by the Android Wear OS.

This morning, in the Android Wear App store, there is one new app named "Tesla Command" which is one auto management software. Users can operate your Tesla through this app, like lock down, unlock, roof window etc. It can support the voice alert function as well.

Hampoo, that is one well known tablet solution supplier in China. It has work TI and Rockchip solutions, but from last year, it moved to develop Intel solution, and the result is quite good.

If you don't Hampoo, then you should know Ramos and Cube, they both are well known tablet brand names here. And Hampoo is their solution supplier. Not long before, it has accept one big order from India.

This morning, we have received the invitation letter from Hampoo to attend its new solution conference hold at the end of this month. The solution is based on Intel chipset, and 3G, 4G, Windows 8.1 and Android 4.4 OS. There is no much information about the conference. But we guess it should be about the new Intel Bay Trail Z3735G and Z3537F quad core.

On this Monday, Ontablets has already revealed the detail information of this Nvidia Shield tablet. Yesterday, Nvidia announced that this Shield tablet is available for sale. This unit comes with one 8 inch IPS screen, and Nvidia Tegra K1 powerful CPU. It will land on US on 29th, July, and will available for sale in Europe on 14th Aug.

This unit looks quite similar as the HTC One M8. The screen resolution is 1920*1200 pixels. It comes with one Directstylus S Pen. The operation system is Android 4.4.2. The unit dimension is 221*126*9.2mm, the weight is 390g.

As one special tablet for gaming, this unit owns one very powerful chipset, the Tegra K1. This chipset is integrated of four 2.2GHz Cortex A15. It can provide you the best gaming experience. This tablet can provide users the Gamer streamer etc service.

But the RAM of this unit is only 2G, and the 16GB edition can only has wifi connection. But 32GB edition can have wifi and LTE connection.

Except the good firmware, this unit comes with one wireless handle. But this handle does not adopt the bluetooth for connection, but Wifi Direct technology. The transfer speed is much faster than bluetooth. But the handle is optional, users need to pay 59 US dollars extra for it.

Last week, Ontablets has revealed one new tablet pc from Chuwi, VX8 3G edtion. At that moment, Ontablets only told us the CPU is one 64 bit quad core from Intel. Today, more information about it is available on Tabletofgps.

This Chuwi VX8 3G edition adopts one 8 inch wide viewing angle IPS screen, the brightness is 400 cd/㎡. This screen has adopted the OTG technology, the brightness is further enhanced, and touch sensitivity is also much better. The screen resolution is 1280*800 pixels.

The CPU is the 64 bit Intel Bay Trail Entry quad core chipset, the frequency is 1.83GHz. The RAM is 1GB, and flash memory is 16GB. It can support one memory card up to 32GB. The battery capacity is 5000mah, and the cell core is from MBELL.

There are two cameras built in. The front one is 2M pixels, and rear one is 5M pixels. It can record a video in 1080P@60fps manner. It comes with one Intel 3G chipset, and can surf network easily and fast.

Now, the price is unknown, we will let you further information if any.

During the last several months, HP has released several new big screen tablets. At beginning of this year, Ontablets revealed one 17 inch tablet from HP, the model number is Slate 17. But till now, we don't see any further information about it. But this morning, Ontablets exposed one another new tablet from HP which is coded by Red.

From the data sheet, we can see, this HP Red tablet is coming with one 16 inch big screen. The resolution is 2048*1536 pixels. The CPU is Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core chipset, the frequency is 2.3GHz. The GPU is Adreno 330. There are 2GB RAM and 16GB flash memory space. The front camera is 2M pixels, and the rear one is 7M pixels.

The tablets are available for sale from HP are mostly cheap, and the firmware is also not top. But this Red tablet is coming with top firmware, the performance is very high. So it will not be cheap as other HP tablets. But till now, the price is unknown.

This morning, the well known GPU supplier and also the partner of Google Android Wear, Imagination Technologies announced a new GPU special for smart wearing device, Internet of Things, and other mini embed device, PowerVR GX5300.

Till now, this PowerVR GX5300 is the smallest GPU for Android and Android Wear OS. It adopts the low power consumption technology and 28nm process. It is very suitable for smart watches or smart glasses and other smart wearing devices. Furthermore, PowerVR GX5300 can support OpenGL ES standard. It can offer various extension for smart wearing devices. Regarding the screen, this GPU can support 480P and 720P resolution.

This PowerVR GX5300 is developed based on PowerVR Series 5. So it has a lot of similar features, like USSE framework, low power consumption, low demand on RAM band width.

Except for smart wearing device, this GPU is also suitable for some smart household device. And one company has already adopted this GPU for its household devices.

This morning, Ontablets provided a news saying one LG G Pad will land US recently. The model of this G Pad is V410. That is one 7 inch mini tablet with LTE network. This unit will be carried by AT&T of US. AT&T logo will be printed on the unit. As the feature is quite similar as the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, so it must affect its sale in near future.

Till now, we don't know this new LG G Pad has any other improvement based on the old edition except the 4G network. This new G Pad adopts one 7 inch IPS screen, the resolution is 1280*800 pixels, the PPI of the screen is 216. The CPU is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, the GPU is Adreno 305, the RAM is 1G, the flash memory is unknown for now, but it should be 16GB. It runs Android 4.4.2 OS and owns one 4000Mah battery.

From the above simple specification, we can see the performance of this new G Pad is till lower than Sumsang Galaxy Tab S 8.4. So we can be sure the price of this new G Pad will also be lower than Galaxy Tab S 8.4. But the price will be only known when it is released. We can expect it in month.
