Last week, Onda unveiled its latest octa core tablet with Allwinner A80T chipset. Recently, many people are expecting its availability. And today, we got news from Ontablets, the 2014 Onda Annual Conference will be hold at the end of this month. In the conference, this new tablet with Allwinner A80T chipset may appear.

The Annual Conference will hold on 30th June. Allwinner is also invited to attend the conference. We believe, Allwinner will show its latest octa core CPU, A80T in the conference as well. Onda will released several new tablets, most of them are adopting the Allwinner A80T octa core. In old entries, we have already introduced something about this chipset. Now, in the market, only Nvidia Tegra K1 can compare with it if speaking of performance.

Other news said, in the conference, one 4G phablet will be also released, and some tablet with Windows operation system will be available as well. Of course, everything is not settled, we need to wait till the conference starts.

Yesterday, Sharp displayed its new Free Form display. This new display is based on IGZO technology, and owns unique PCB design. Then manufacturers can design different form of PCB.

As we know, all the screen of tablets or smart phones are square. That is because, to fit the PCB driver board, the edge of the screen need to keep some space. But if adopting this new Free Form display, there is not limitation on the edge of the screen, the panel can be designed as different form.

Last month, Microsoft released its latest tablet, Surface Pro 3. But the other unit people care a lot, Surface Mini was not shown on the press. But news from US, Surface Mini has already been available for mass production, it may be 15K to 20K pieces.
