About one month ago, Teclast launched the X98 3G quad core tablet. Following this model, there is one new 9.7 inch tablet from Teclast in market. It is the Teclast X98 Air. This new edition is more slim than the old one. And it is also one 3G tablet.

Today, we can see soem forum has open a new area for this X98 Air 3G tablet. Compared with X98 Air, this unit has the 3G function, and if compared with X98 3G, this X98 Air 3G adopts the latest IPS screen, resolution and color is much better. That means this X98 Air 3G has integrated the advantages of X98 Air and X98 3G tablet.

Though, Teclast did not tell the specification of this X98 Air 3G, but it should be quite similar as X98 Air. CPU should be also the Intel Bay Trail-T quad core processor. More information, you need to wait our further report about it in following days.

Till now, the 3rd quarter of 2014 is coming to an end. At the beginning of this year, Intel set a 40 million pieces sales target. Now, this target seems hardly to be achieved. Luckily, now, many top tablet suppliers are promoting Intel chipset, especially ASUS. In the past weeks, ASUS has already launched several new tablets with Intel processor. Today, one new 8 inch tablet with Windows 8.1 OS is launched. Model number is Vivo Tab8.

This Vivo Tab8 looks quite similar as the old Vivo Tab Note8. It also comes with one 8 inch IPS screen, resolution is 1280*800 pixels. CPU is Intel Atom Z3745 quad core processor, frequency is 1.86GHz. RAM is 1GB or 2GB, users can select themselves. Flash memory space is 32GB. Fromt camera resolution is 2M pixels. But it does not own a touch pen which is included in Vivo Tab Note8.

In this IFA 2014, Acer launched two new Transformer tablets, R13 and R14. Both units are very good models.

The R13 adopts the Exel aire hinge, the unique Ezel mode can allow users having zero range contact with the screen. The Stand mode allows user to operate on touch screen. The Pad mode makes the unit be a tablet.

The screen of the R14 can be rotated at 360 degree, just like other Transformer tablets in the market.

The configuration of R13 and R14 is very good. R13 adopts one 13.3 inch IPS screen, screen resolution is 2560*2440 pixels. R14 owns one 14 inch screen, resolution is 1366*768 pixels. CPU is the Intel Core I3, I5 or I7. Users can choose different editions. The RAM can be 12GB at max. Both unit will land US market in Oct. The R13 is starting from 900 US dollars, and R14 is starting from 600 US dollars. After landing US market, this unit will be available in Spain very soon.

As we know, smart wearing device is a new field. In the past days, we have introduced some smart watches, smart T-shirt, smart glasses and other smart wearing device. Today, one company named Mota released one smart finger ring, named SmartRing. This unit can display notifications from your apps.

This SmartRing can display your text, calls etc. SmartRing will warn users by text if any notification, and slide screen to read text.

There is one special app for this SmartRing, it can be installed in Android or iOS operation system and pair with your smartphone. Mota is also cooperating some social medias like Facebook and Twitter.

As what Mota told, this SmartRing will land US in the forth quarter of 2014. Till now, its price and specification information are unknown. But for sure, Mota will be display this unit in the IFA 2014 trade show.

About one and half month agao, Nvidia released its new Shield tablet. Though, its configuration is very high, and one special tablet for gaming, but the price is very high, nearly 300 US dollars. Today, Nvidia released the first firmware update for this tablet.

This firmware update is to improve the wifi stability, camera performance, Shield Hub and Games Stream, and add the Nvidia PRISM switch etc.

From the above information, we can see, this update is mostly to improve the running speed and performance, and add the Nvidia PRISM function. Users can adjust the screen brightness and contrast. But we have tried this function on our Nvidia Shield tablet, this function is not so good for users. When we switch it on, the screen may flash. So we believe, Nvidia need to keep on improving this function. For now, I advise you not to enable this function.

Till now, Lenovo is the biggest tablet supplier from China. It has a very wide product range from Android OS to Windows OS, and cover nearly all screen size and price range. As the IFA 2014 will be hold at this month, recently, Ontablets disclosed one Lenovo tablet for this trade show. It is this Lenovo Tab S8.

This Tab S8 adopts one 8 inch Full HD 1080P screen. CPU is the Intel Bay Trail Z3745 quad core, frequency is 1.86GHz. RAM is 2GB, and ROM is 16GB. The front camera is 1.6M pixels, and rear one is 8M pixels. Unit runs Android 4.4 operation system.

This Tab S8 owns two different edition, one is wifi edition, and one is 4G LTE edition. But for now, we can not make sure if the 4G edition will support making calls on screen.

Totally speaking, this Tab S8 is not bad. Though the price is unknown for now, as our estimation, it should be lower than 250 euros. Of course, if this unit will be on the IFA trade show, then its price will be known then.

As IFA 2014 trade show is coming next month, many companies started to prepare their new product for this show. As a reliable news, Lenovo will have two new tablet for this show, one is the two in one tablet, Thinkpad Helix 2, the other one is Tab S8.

From the information we collected, Thinkpad Helix 2 is the upgrade edition of Helix. It is also two in one tablet. It can be used a tablet or laptop pc. This unit will adopt one 11.6 inch IPS screen, resolution is 1080P. CPU is the Intel Core I7. In future, it may have some other editions with Intel Bay Trail T chipset.

The Lenovo Tab S8 will adopt the Intel CPU, but for now, we can not make sure it will Bay Trail T or Moorefield chipset. Unit will own one 8 inch IPS screen. Resolution is unknown for now. Compared with Helix 2, this Tab S8 looks younger. Helix 2 looks like a commercial tablet.

Although, Lenovo did not confirm the news, but news is quite reliable. So when IFA 2014 trade show is open, we can know more information about these two tablets.

Mouse Computer may be a strange name for most of us. It is a new PC supplier from Japan. Recently, Mouse Computer launched a new tablet with Windows OS. The model number is MT-iCE1000WN-BG. The price is 450 euros in Ontablets.

As information from Ontablets, this tablet owns one 10.1 inch IPS screen, resolution is 1280*800 pixels. CPU is the Intel Celron N2807 quad core. Frequency is 1.58GHz. RAM is 2GB DDR3 and there is 64GB SSD flash memory. The front camera is 1M pixels, and rear camera is 5M pixels. Unit runs Windows 8.1 OS. It can support Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, and HDMI etc.

There is a special keyboard for this new tablet. Users can connect with tablet, and use it as a laptop PC.

Though, this tablet is already confirmed by Mouse Computer, but it did not tell when it will be available for sale.

About half months ago, Chuwi has released one of its latest tablet, VX8 3G. Ontablets has made a report about it. As we know, this VX8 is running Android OS. But Chuwi told us this unit can also work with Windows OS as well. Today, we have seen some pictures of VW8 with Windows OS. But for now, Chuwi did not tell where to download Windows OS firmware.

As news disclosed before, Chuwi VX8 with Windows OS will extend the RAM and flash memory flash to 2GB and 32GB. But till now, Chuwi did not tell when it will be available.

Chuwi VX8 comes with one 8 inch IPS screen, resolution is 1280*800 pixels. CPU is the 64 bits Intel Z3735G quad core CPU, frequency is 1.83GHz. It can support both Android and Windows OS. But for now, only the Android OS is available for sale in market. But if you want, you can burn it with Windows 8.1 OS as well.

As the IFA 2014 trade show is coming, there are a lot of news about ASUS tablets. In this April, ASUS launched the latest Transformer Pad TF103C. About four months later, ASUS launched another two Transformer tablets, TF303 and TF303K.

Both model adopts one 10.1 inch IPS screen, the screen resolution is 1920*1080 pixels. The Transformer Pad T303 comes with one Intel Bay Trail-T Z3745 quad core CPU, and owns 2GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB flash memory space. The Transformer Pad T303K adopts the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core CPU. The RAM is 2GB RAM and 16GB flash memory. Both units run Android 4.4 OS, and ZenUI customized operation interface.

As news from Ontablets, Transformer Pad TF303K will land Spain next month. The price is 299 euros without keyboard, if you want it with a keyboard, it will be 50 euros extra. The Transformer Pad T303 will be available following TF303K. The price is 349 euros without keyboard, and 399 euros with keyboard.

Now, it is quite nearing to be available, so if you want to own one, you just need to wait about one month more.
