Reviews on Asus Memo Pad FHD10 tablet pc

April 11 2014

Asus Memo Pad FHD10 was available on last Aug, till now, it is already over half years. Today, let's have a review on this unit. Memo Pad FHD10 is quad core tablet with Intel Atom Z2560 CPU chipset, the frequency of this chipset is a bit lower than another Intel chipset, Z2580. The frequency is 1.6GHz. The screen size is 10.1 inch IPS screen, the resolution is 1920*1200 pixels. RAM is 2G and memory is 16G. As it is one old units, so the configuration is not good as the latest model in market. Today, I will not show you how powerful this unit is, and just let you know why it is more expensive than some other cheap tablets online.

First of all, let's see the unit design. In fact, its design is not so fashion, or classic. The size looks a bit big. But when you own this unit, you will be concentrated on the high screen resolution, and the interface of the Android OS. Especially, the interface is very nice, and quite different with the other tablets here.

Second, let's see the wifi function. This unit can work with both 2.4G and 5G wifi signal. So it can avoid the interference of the 2.4G signal if too many people use it. I tried with my own wireless router at home. The Asus Memo Pad FHD10 can have a very strong wifi signal, and one another cheap tablet I bought online can not make it. Till now, Memo PAD FHD10 is the tablet I have seen with best wifi module inside.

Third GPS navigation, I did not connect with wifi signal, or 3G dongle. Just use the GPS module inside. Usually, the cheap tablet can not receive any satellite signal if putting at home, but this FHD10 can easily position. You can mount it in your car and work as GPS navigator.
