Contrast between mobile processors

Today, people made a simple contrast between nine flagship CPU and GPU in market. You can see the picture, the left side is GPU performance, and right side is CPU performance.

The top SOC among the nine flagship SOC which are already for sale in market is Apple A9. Its single thread performance is invincible, and dual core performance is nearly the same as Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa core CPU, and its GPU performance is also very good.

Second, let's see the Kirin 950. Its multi core performance is very good, about 30% higher than Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, and 25% higher than Samsung Exynos 7420. But its single core performance is not good, more than 30% lower than Apple A9.

Regarding new three SOC which will be available soon, the Samsung Exynos 8890 is the most powerful one. Its GPU is Mali T880 MP12, and GPU performance is very high, and its single thread performance is similar as Apple A9, and thanks to integrated eight cores, its multi threads performance is also invincible

Regarding Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, it adopts Adreno 530 GPU, performance is similar as Samsung, its single thread performance is also similar, but since it is one quad core SOC, so its multi threads performance is much lower than Samsung Exynos 8890.

Following is the Mediatek Helio X20 which is also based on ARM Cortex A72. its general performance is similar as Samsung Exynos 8890 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, and 26% higher than Kirin 950. It is one deca core SOC, so its multi threads performance is nearly the same as Samsung Exynos 8890, but its GPU is Mali T880 MP4 which is much lower than Mali T880 MP12.
