Last Saturday, HP announced its new 2 in 1 tablet pc, Elite X2 1012. This unit runs new Windows 10 operation system and mainly for enterprises users, and will compete with Microsoft Surface Pro 4

This HP Elite X2 1012 comes with the 6th Gen Intel Core M processor. This processor can boost the utilization of power, and in meanwhile, its performance is much better than last generation as well. There is SSD storage built in, and 12 inch high definition IPS screen. Screen ratio is 3:2. More important, it can support 4G LTE network.

HP Elite X2 1012 owns HP SecureStart technology in BIOS level. Whole unit looks very slim, and light. Its thickness is 8.1mm, and total weight is about 900g.

As estimation, HP Elite X2 1012 will land US market in Jan 2016, people can book it on HP official online store, its price is 899 US dollars including one keyboard and touch pen.

Last night, CEO of XiaoMi showed one picture of new tablet pc. From its size, it should be the new XiaoMi Mi Pad2. Compared with first generation, its looks is much different. Just like iPad, new XiaoMi Mi Pad2 may adopt metal body.

Regarding its configuration, it comes with Intel Atom X5 Z8500 quad core processor, frequency is 2.24GHz, RAM is 2GB, operation system is Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. As the configuration is a bit higher than 1st generation XiaoMi Mi Pad, adding on the metal body, its price should be a bit higher than last generation.

Insiders disclosed that new XiaoMi Mi Pad 2 may have two different editions with different configuration. Price of lower edition is about 240 US dollars, and higher edition is about 285 US dollars. New XiaoMi Mi Pad 2 may support dual operation system, Android 5.1 OS and Windows 10.

Last night, in Beijing, China, Lenovo officially launched its new smartphone, Lemo X3. This Lenovo Lemo X3 adopts Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, screen size is 5.5 inch, and resolution is 1080P level. Its RAM is 3GB, storage can be 32GB or 64GB. This new Lenovo smartphone can support Quick Charge 2.0 technology and its front camera is 8M pixels, rear camera is 21M pixels. Price is starting from 390 US dollars.

In the conference, people from Lenovo said, the shipment volume of Lemo K3 smartphone has reach 10 million pieces in the world. As the upgrading edition, Lemo X3 keeps the high quality tone, and comes with Dolby ATMOS technology.

Lemo X3 adopts one ES9018C2M audio decoding chipset, and three OPA1612 amplifiers from Texas Instruments. More important, this smartphone can support HiFi function.

Except that, Lemo X3 can support 4G LTE + network, and VoLTE. Its max download speed is 450Mbps. But Lenovo did not tell when this Lemo X3 will be for sale. More information will be provided in following weeks.

Yesterday, we have reported the spec of new XiaoMi bracelet, and today, this new product rolls out. Compared with last generation bracelet, new XiaoMi bracelet has come with heart beating monitor function. Its looks is nearly the same as last generation, price is only 16 US dollars.

This new XiaoMi bracelet adopts photo-sensor, and uses optical capacitance pulse wave and PPG principle to monitor heart beating rate. Apple watch and other top smart wearable devices are all adopting this technology.

The computing method of heart beating rate monitor is developed by HuaMi. It makes the monitoring more precise. Users can use App to monitor the motion tract and heart beating rate.

The other aspect of this new XiaoMi bracelet is the same as last generation, including step counter, sleep monitor, smart clock, and incoming call alarm etc function. It can support IP67 water proof, and will be for sale on 11th, Nov.

Early this month, news from USA said, Google may self design and make cooperation with others to develop its own SOC for mobile phones. In fact, this mode is quite similar as Apple. Apple designs its SOC and OEM by Samsung or TSMC.

In fact, this news is unveiled from this autumn. At beginning, Google would like to develop one internet device for enterprises. This device will be based on Google technology. But soon, this planning is changed to develop one SOC for smartphones. The benefit of this is that it can allow put the latest features into the new Android OS.

The problem of this plan is it is quite hard to find a reliable partner for this SOC. Of course, Google can find some cheap Android devices manufacturers, but if so, it is impossible to develop one high quality SOC. Till now, Apple is still the leader of smartphone market. If Google would like to develop its own SOC, then it is most likely adopted by Nexus products at beginning.

It owns one 8 inch IPS screen, and one octa core processor. But Hufu did not tell detail information. But considering its price, and targeting users, the processor should be from Mediatek or Qualcomm Snapdragon 615. Its RAM is 1GB, and storage is 32GB. Screen resolution is 1280*800 pixels. Operation system is Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Now, this tablet is for sale in Walmart and other stores in USA. Price is 169 US dollars.

Recently, Stcamusa has disclosed one new tablet pc from Onda, model number is Onda V919 Air CH, it is the upgrading edition of Onda V919. Yesterday, this Onda V919 Air CH is officially rolls out. Its price is about 160 US dollars.

Different with old edition, this V919 Air CH adopts the latest Intel Cherry Trail processor which is based on Atom X5 framework and 14nm process technology. It is one quad core CPU with quad threads. In meanwhile, it integrates the 8th generation Intel HD Graphics GPU which owns 12 EU cores. It can support DirectX11 and G sensor function. Its RAM is 4GB, flash memory is 64GB. Users can extend the storage space by external TF card up to 128GB.

Onda V919 Air CH adopts the same IPS Retina screen as iPad. Screen size is 9.7 inch, resolution is 2048*1536 pixels. Its brightness is 300, and adopts new IGZO process. The thickness is only 7.9mm, total weight is about 450g. Operation system is legit Windows 10 OS.

As compacted size, low price and good performance, ASUS Transformer Book T100 2 in 1 tablet pc is quite welcome in market. And in this June, ASUS launched one new 2 in 1 tablet pc, Transformer Book T100HA. This new product comes with the Intel Atom Cherry Trail processor, USB Type-C port etc. Now, this Transformer Book T100HA lands Europe.

This new ASUS tablet pc owns one 10 inch IPS screen, resolution is 1280*800 pixels. CPU is the Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5 Z8500 processor. It has two different editions, one is coming with 2GB RAM and 32GB flash memory, higher edition is 4GB RAm and 64GB or 128GB flash memory. Its front camera is 2M pixels, rear camera is 5M pixels. Battery capacity is 30Whr, and battery life is over 30 hours.

From this March, Nokia did not push any update for Nokia N1. But last week, Nokia started to push Android 5.1.1 OS update for N1 tablet pc. The version number of new OS is A5CN701. It adds some new settings and updates for apps.
